Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the construction permitting process for houses, model homes, and construction offices/trailers, including tracking weekly status of reviews at municipalities. Order lot specific plan sets from various sources as needed and review plans for accuracy. Assemble and mark-up plans for permitting, field staff, and subcontractors. Order and review plot plans for permitting. Review and process sales paperwork/change orders relating to permitting for new specs and sold houses and resolve issues when required. Coordinate ARB submittals and approvals and resolve issues as needed. Create weekly start packages. Prepare check requests for permits and pay re-inspection fees. Order liens. Update weekly the Starts Report, JD Edwards, and various other permit tracking reports. Order and review Truss packages for permitting as needed. Maintain document management and filing system for the department to ensure availability of documentation, letters, forms and files as required. Performs additional tasks or projects as requested by the Plans and Permit Manager or VP of Construction.
