Build to simplify. Role Overview The Plant Controller role is responsible for finance activities across production, inventory and plant. The role works closely with business, operations, and leadership teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and scalability of financial processes. Key Responsibilities Overall inventory management & Systems control. Strict compliance of all internal finance control, systems & processes. Factory ERP implementation & Control. Ownership of reporting factory PnL to management Verification of COGS production order wise & reconciliation of all production orders on daily/weekly/monthly. Controlling all the inventory movement across plant and monitoring the processes. Standard cost v/s Actual cost analysis on monthly/ yearly basis. Co-ordinating with the auditors for physical verification of inventory and analyzing the physical verification report and taking appropriate measures as suggested by auditors & Management. Cycle counting of inventory and correcting any differences after appropriate approvals. Coordinating with inter dept (Quality/Production/Logistics) for any pending documentation in SAP and getting this done on time. Control budgets across plant spends and prepare annual operating plan and track conversion cost closely. Manage planning with the sourcing team to meet the SNOP. Handle audits, due diligence for inventory and production areas. About Us Exponent simplifies energy for EVs.
