The Florence Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer, whether you're a new recruit or you're already a certified peace officer. Starting pay is $35.24/hour, which is equivalent to an annual salary of approximately $73,308.  Upon successful completion of the police academy, an additional $4,653 per year will be added to the employee’s salary in accordance with KLEFPF eligibility.
