This is a great opportunity with long-term growth potential for dependable and motivated candidates. We are hiring Press Operators to join a growing team in Columbus, IN. This is a temp-to-hire position (not direct placement). Candidates must submit a resume and demonstrate stable work history. After successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, employees receive a $1.00/hour raise . Shift Options • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Position Summary The Press Operator is responsible for operating automatic and/or manual compacting and sizing equipment according to established procedures and certifications. Key Responsibilities Safety • Follow all plant safety policies • Identify and report hazards • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment Production • Review work instructions and process documentation daily • Perform machine checks and make minor adjustments • Load materials (powders/fluids) as required • Use measuring tools to verify tolerances • Reset automation and press faults • Complete accurate production documentation Quality • Follow all quality standards and specifications • Perform inspections per documentation requirements • Comply with CARs, PARs, NCRs, and process controls Continuous Improvement • Participate in TPM and root cause initiatives • Support process improvements and cost reduction efforts • Maintain 5S housekeeping standards Teamwork • Follow direction from production leadership • Communicate safety and quality concerns • Support company policies and team goals Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent required • 6+ months manufacturing experience preferred • Press operation experience preferred • Ability to read work instructions and technical drawings • Experience with measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong problem-solving skills Benefits Upon Conversion • $1.00/hr raise at full-time conversion • $550 bonus after 6 months • Health insurance (HSA & PPO options) • 401(k) with 50% match (up to 6%) • Paid vacation, holidays, and attendance bonuses • Company-paid life insurance & disability • Uniforms provided • Safety shoe & glasses voucher Malone Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer. 2000037 To Apply for this Job Click Here
