Description
Index Industries is a venture-backed startup, with a mission to build the financial infrastructure for a new era of real estate investing, one that opens the largest asset classes to investors across the globe. The company is currently in stealth and launching its first technology in 2026.
About the Role
We're building something ambitious at the intersection of fintech and blockchain, and we need a PM/UX hybrid who can bridge the gap between on-chain complexity and seamless user experience. You'll own the full product lifecycle — from discovery and wireframes to launch and iteration — working directly with engineering and design in a lean, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
Own the product roadmap across key consumer and protocol-facing surfaces
Conduct user research and translate findings into clear product requirements
Collaborate with design to produce wireframes, prototypes, and UX flows
Define and track success metrics via tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel
Work with engineering to scope, prioritize, and ship features on tight cycles
Navigate KYC/KYB compliance requirements and embed them into UX without friction
Engage directly with early users and partners to drive feedback loops
Requirements
5+ years in product management, at least 2 in a blockchain, crypto, or DeFi environment
Hands-on UX skills — comfortable in Figma, conducting usability tests, and writing design specs
Deep familiarity with blockchain primitives: wallets, smart contracts, on-chain identity, token flows
Experience working in a 0→1 environment; startup DNA required
Strong written communication — you write crisp PRDs and don't need hand-holding
Bonus: experience with payment rails, lending products, or protocol governance
Compensation: $130K–$170K base + equity
