As CSE MCO Product Planning & Launch Excellence Lead for Rare Diseases, you will act as a strategic consultant and launch architect, leading end-to-end launch readiness, operationalizing pre-launch preparation, and driving business and pricing cases across the CSE countries. With the OneRare Franchise valued at ~150M€ in MCO Central and South Europe and double-digit growth expected, the stakes — and the opportunity — are extraordinary. You will connect global ambition with local execution, translate market intelligence into impactful tactics, and partner across functions to ensure every new indication launches with excellence. Main Responsibilities Aim Higher — Drive Launch Excellence & Portfolio Growth • Leads launch readiness and launch excellence activities for all new indications from 5 years post until 6–12 months pre-launch • Drives launch excellence by setting launch readiness and performance KPIs to track progress and improvement up to 2 years from launch • Leads the business case and forecasting processes for new products and indications; co-creates with local markets the business & pricing cases, preparing all required materials (ppt, excel) by following the MCO Business & Pricing Case process • Analyses key market data and works closely with the MCO Franchise Head during the year on forecasting and long-term plans • Continuously stretches to improve, simplify and prioritize within area of influence with a laser focus on adding value • Demonstrates a high level of drive and ambition for optimal business results and injects energy and enthusiasm into the organization Act for Patients — Put Access & Patient Impact at the Center • Works closely with local Access & Public Affairs teams to map and drive local access and reimbursement strategies • Partners with medical to map opportunities to generate Real World Evidence (RWE) in support of local access and reimbursement procedures • Represents CSE towards the Global team for launching products and indications • Adheres to policies, standard operating procedures, and regulations both from a Country and Sanofi perspective to maintain the highest standard of compliance, ethics and business integrity • Ensures best-in-class HCP and patient experience as a core mandate of the Rare Franchise Be Bold — Lead Transformation & Market Intelligence • Works closely with MCO brand & content leads to generate market intelligence & insights, by running market research studies and leveraging GTMC analytics • Ensures translation of market insights into local tactics through acceleration and mitigation plans • Demonstrates capability to innovate, lead and drive change to achieve business goals and priorities • Brings an entrepreneurial and agile mindset, unconventional thinking, always looking for new ways to achieve business goals • Challenges the status quo to enhance efficiency while respecting global frameworks and compliance standards Lead Together — Collaborate, Connect & Drive One Rare • Leads PMO activities for the MCO Rare team and supports MCO Rare initiatives cross-indications • Maintains strong cooperation transversally with Marketing, Market Access, Medical and commercial teams • Maintains effective internal communication to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of channel and campaign objectives • Clearly demonstrates Play-To-Win behaviours and leads local culture in line with global vision • Maintains a high level of cooperation with regional and global teams, which is paramount to the success of the role About You Education: Graduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, Life Sciences or a related field Experience: Proven successful marketing and/or market access experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a track record of performance in launch excellence and business growth Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the market, competition, future trends and the entire healthcare ecosystem, ideally across multiple CSE countries Analytical Acumen: Numerate with strong analytical capabilities, P&L management, scenario planning and financial acumen; ability to take data-driven decisions based on patient/HCP needs Entrepreneurial Mindset: Capacity to challenge the status quo with unconventional thinking, always looking for new ways to achieve business goals while respecting global approaches Global Thinking: Able to understand the global framework combined with local execution; experience with glocal approach to brand planning processes and local implementation Collaboration: Excellence in cross-functional teamwork and stakeholder management across complex, matrixed organizations (global, peers, cross-functional teams, market access, commercial and external stakeholders) GTM Transformation: Advanced knowledge and understanding of Go-to-Market transformation and the Sales and Marketing operating model Communication: Fluency in English; strong communication skills to influence and inspire diverse stakeholders at all levels About Sanofi We’re an R&D-driven, AI-powered biopharma company committed to improving people’s lives and delivering compelling growth.
