Job Description The Production Testing Technician is responsible for testing low and medium voltage products including electrical Switchgear, Switchboards, Panelboards, Breaker’s and MCC’s. The Electrical Testing Technician ensures that products meet the industry standards and client specifications. Schedule: Wednesday – Saturday; 6AM- 4:30PM OR Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday; 6AM- 4:30PM Responsibilities The following list of responsibilities is not all inclusive, additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs. MCG retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position should operational needs warrant. • Strong ability to test low and medium voltage products including electrical Switchgear, Switchboards, Panelboards, Breaker’s and MCC’s. • Ability to work closely with Engineering and identify issues with electrical drawings. • Ability to follow ITP’s and perform FAT’s. • Maintain Repair/Calibration database. • Job entries & maintenance of records on database including associated paperwork and time tracking. • Prepare detailed service and failure records. • Ability to meet project deadlines and strong focus on customers. • Ability to train others and manage teams in varied settings. • Performs other duties as assigned.
