The opportunity: The purpose of this position is to contribute to the academic excellence and strategic development of  Gisma University of Applied Sciences through high-quality teaching, impactful research, and active  participation within the academic community. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping  and delivering innovative programmes in Strategic Management, Digital Leadership, and Organizational  Change, with a focus on integrating agile leadership frameworks, digital-first corporate strategies, and  human-centric transformation into the curriculum. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with  an international student body, collaborate with industry and research partners, and influence the  evolution of leadership education in an era of rapid technological disruption. Key Activities & Responsibilities: Module responsibility and teaching of Gisma’s Bachelor and Master programmes, particularly in the fields of Strategic Leadership, Managing Digital Transformation, Change  Management, and related areas, as well as examination, assessments, and student supervision. Active participation in programme development, quality assurance, and the integration of strategic foresight and digital maturity models into the curriculum. Design and continuous update of contemporary teaching and learning materials aligned with developments in agile governance, platform economies, and the future of work. Initiate, expand, and maintain cooperation with partners in industry and research organisations, particularly in management consultancy, digital innovation labs, and global corporate leadership environments. Participation in national and international accreditation procedures, as required. Active engagement in academic administration and committee work Further development of a personal and institutional research profile in Digital  Transformation Strategy, Leadership Psychology, or Corporate Resilience, publication of  results in high-quality journals, and engagement in public dissemination. Support outreach activities, including student recruitment events and promotion of AIdriven business study pathways. In addition, you demonstrate:  Completed university studies in a relevant discipline such as Strategic Management, Business Administration, Leadership Studies, Organizational Development, or Digital Business. Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work in the form of an outstanding doctorate and/or a strong record of high-impact, peer-reviewed publications. A minimum of three years of qualified professional experience, including at least two years outside a university environment, gained after a master's degree or equivalent. Proven university-level teaching experience, with competence in blended, online, and interactive learning methodologies. Student evaluations should reflect excellent pedagogical aptitude. A strong affinity for digital ecosystems, business model innovation, and tech-driven organizational scaling. Fluency in English for teaching and research purposes; international academic or industry experience is highly valued.  A publication record in fields such as Strategic Management, Digital Leadership, or Organizational Transformation. Experience in developing and leading research projects, ideally with success in acquiring third-party funding. Innovative perspectives for advancing research and curriculum in Strategic Leadership for Digital Transformation. Experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes is an asset.
