Summary of the role The Program Support Specialist is a technical expert within the Transaction Model Program (TRX) who solves complex, cross-platform data and contract problems and helps shape the practices, processes, and procedures that keep TRX operating accurately and efficiently. This role sits at the intersection of contract management, government procurement, and data analysis — extracting and reconciling information across multiple system platforms then translating it into clear reporting and recommendations for internal teams, leadership, and customers. Beyond individual execution, this role leads process and initiative work: authoring SOPs, applying project management discipline to cross-functional efforts, and influencing how the team's operating standards evolve. The Specialist also serves as a technical resource and coach to less experienced team members, transferring knowledge on systems, contract workflows, and data practices. Success in this role requires strong critical thinking, comfort owning ambiguous or multi-system problems, and the judgment to know when to escalate versus resolve independently. Main responsibilities: - Serve as a technical subject-matter expert for Program Support work, solving complex, cross-system problems involving contract data, pricing, and CRM records. - Lead the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for core Program Support workflows and help drive adoption across the team. - Own end-to-end processing of contract amendments — change orders and related data entry in support of client systems while applying project management discipline to more complex or multi-step contract actions. - Apply working knowledge of government procurement practices to guide contract handling, supplier onboarding, and compliance-related data entry. - Extract and reconcile data across multiple system platforms to support accurate, auditable reporting. - Analyze contract and portfolio data to identify trends, discrepancies, and risks, and report findings with recommendations to the manager and senior leadership. - Validate that suppliers reflect approved pricing across Marketplace and supplier-supported ecommerce sites; investigate and resolve root causes of discrepancies. - Own CRM data stewardship — supplier additions, contact data, and key fields — including proactive data-quality checks and hygiene routines, not just updates. - Perform peer review of data entered by other Specialists and provide functional guidance and coaching to less experienced team members. - Research and confirm points of contact for Buyers and Sellers in support of insight reporting. - Provide advanced Excel support — consolidating and combining data using formulas, pivot tables, and similar tools — to support reporting and analysis needs. - Lead or
