Description
The Programme Specialist strengthens UNDP’s efforts to address national development challenges, focusing on vulnerable groups through gender-responsive, human rights-based, and conflict-sensitive approaches. The role supervises programme staff, coordinates project activities, and ensures a coherent response within the Inclusive Sustainable Development Cluster. Working with government counterparts, civil society, the private sector, UN agencies, technical experts, and development partners, the Specialist supports effective programme implementation and partnerships. Responsibilities include identifying, designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programmes and projects to ensure results-oriented delivery and alignment with UNDP Country Programme outcomes. The position promotes transparency, efficiency, quality, and accountability, ensuring programmes achieve sustainable and inclusive development results.
