RES is seeking a Project Manager IV to lead large-scale, complex projects across ecological restoration, water resource management, and infrastructure resilience. This senior-level role requires an experienced leader capable of managing high-risk, high-value projects while mentoring teams and advancing technical excellence across the company. This position will be responsible for full project lifecycle management—from planning to execution to closeout—while acting as a subject matter expert and strategic partner in regulatory, technical, and business development initiatives. A Day in the Life You’ll start your day checking in with your team—maybe it’s your internal design staff, subcontractors in the field, or regional leadership about a regulatory development. Next up: a contract negotiation with a key client, where your understanding of scope, risk, and value sets the tone for long-term success. You might spend your afternoon working on a project recovery plan or running a working session with PMs across the region to align on technical performance improvements. By the end of the day, you’ll probably review financial reports, prep for a go/no-go evaluation, or contribute to a proposal for a major new opportunity. We would love to talk to you if you have many of the following: Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences, engineering, construction management, or a related field. 15+ years of progressive experience in applied sciences, engineering, or construction. 10+ years of direct project management experience. Proven success managing complex, multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors. Strong command of project controls, including Opportunity Charters, PM Plans, Risk Registries, and MS Project (or equivalent scheduling tools). Demonstrated ability to plan, budget, and deliver projects on time, on budget, and in compliance. Skilled in financial reporting—budgets, revenue forecasting, margins, and percent complete. Experience negotiating and managing contracts with clients and subcontractors. Deep technical expertise in one or more specialized domains. Experience using PM tools and software as a central part of your communication and planning toolkit. Familiarity with evaluating regulatory, technical, and financial risk for go/no-go decisions.
