The final offer will reflect the candidate’s experience, qualifications and the specific responsibilities of the role.   As a QA Automation Engineer , you will join our Engineering organization within a dedicated Quality Engineering team of around 10 passionate engineers. In this role, you won't just write test scripts—you will build the platform, tooling, and infrastructure that power quality across all our engineering squads. You’ll be working in a truly international environment, collaborating daily with talented developers and engineers across Western and Eastern Europe. If you have a strong software development background and love building tools that make other engineers faster and more efficient, this is the place for you.   What you will do:  Build tools, not just tests: Design, build, and scale state-of-the-art test automation frameworks and internal tooling (our core stack: Playwright + TypeScript). Own the ecosystem: Act as the technical architect for our entire test ecosystem—owning repositories, design patterns, and long-term codebase health. Empower the engineering org: Enable developers to write fast, reliable tests by providing clean abstractions, SDKs, utility libraries, and reusable components. Shape test architecture: Drive key engineering decisions around test layering, fixture design, data isolation, and environment stability. Improve system testability: Partner with feature teams to architect highly testable APIs, frontends, and data pipelines—without having to write their feature tests for them. Master CI/CD & Performance: Own and optimize modern test pipelines (Jenkins), ruthlessly cutting down execution times and eliminating flakiness. Solve systemic problems: Hunt down root causes of instability and slow feedback loops to implement permanent structural fixes rather than quick patches. Innovate with AI: Experiment with and integrate AI-driven testing tools and LLMs to push our testing capabilities and developer productivity forward. Elevate engineering standards: Mentor engineers, define quality gates/metrics, and champion a modern Quality Engineering culture across the company.   Who you are: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Quality Engineer with a strong focus on tooling, infrastructure, and framework design. Solid Software Engineering background: Whether you started as a Software Developer or built a strong coding foundation in QA, you write clean, scalable, and maintainable code (TypeScript / JavaScript experience required). Framework expertise: Proven experience designing and architecting automation frameworks from scratch or at scale, ideally using Playwright. Deep architectural understanding: Mastery of test design patterns, the test pyramid, data management strategies, and test isolation. CI/CD mastery: Strong experience configuring and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) with an obsession for fast feedback loops. API &am
