About the Role As an hourly Technician, you will perform essential vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. You will also conduct multi-point inspections to identify additional service needs. This role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic who takes pride in keeping the service bay clean, efficient, and safe. Key Responsibilities • Perform Light Maintenance: Conduct oil and filter changes, rotate tires, and replace components such as air/cabin filters and wiper blades. Lubricate moving parts as required. • Conduct Inspections: Perform thorough multi-point inspections, check tire pressure, and inspect/top off vehicle fluids. • Communication: Clearly document all work on repair orders and report findings or additional service needs to service advisors. • Customer Care: Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and notify service advisors of any changes to the vehicle's appearance or condition. • Safety & Maintenance: Keep the shop area tidy, follow all safety and hazardous waste disposal procedures, and report safety issues immediately. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company motor vehicle report standards. • Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required—we value an aptitude for learning and a dedication to improving technical skills. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. • Ability to use basic hand tools. Physical Demands & Work Environment • Continuous time standing and walking. • Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, with occasional need to lift up to 100 lbs. • Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and kneeling. • Work is performed primarily indoors but includes exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, fumes, and chemicals.
