Position: R&D Manager About us LTS is a leading pharmaceutical technology company that develops and manufactures innovative drug delivery systems for the pharmaceutical industry. LTS´ commercial offering encompasses more than 20 marketed products. LTS operates today from 5 sites: Netanya (Israel), Adrenarche (Germany), West Caldwell (NJ, USA), St. Paul (MN, USA), and Shanghai (China). About the role We are looking for an excellent R&D Manager to join our team in Israel and manage the Research & Mechanics team. The position is permanent, full time, hybrid. Responsibilities: • Manage 3 R&D engineers. • Lead and execute complex technical investigations involving multidisciplinary systems (mechanical, hardware, software, material, and device-related aspects). • Lead and drive design improvements based on data-driven insights and investigation outcomes. • Responsible for all mechanical aspects in the department. • Provide analytical and technical support throughout the product lifecycle, serving as a key technical contact for global pharmaceutical companies. • Design and oversee advanced characterization studies (material, mechanical, functional, and performance characterization). Direct Manager: VP R&D Job Requirements: • Education: • Sc. in Physics / Mechanics / Bio-medical engineering • Job skills: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in complex, multidisciplinary industrial environments (mandatory). • Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage. • Proven track record in solving deep, non-trivial technical problems. • Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience, including leading technical teams and cross-functional initiatives. • Experience providing technical support and leading technical discussions with international customers on medical devices (advantage). • Computer skills: Full control of all MS-Office applications • Language skills: Fluent English - written and spoken • Personality: At LTS, we value collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
