• Prepares for and assists the radiologist in the completion of complex radiographic examinations.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and medications in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Implements standards of Accreditations of the national and international organizations adopted by the Hospital.
• Operates X-ray & portable radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, computerized tomography (CT) scanners, Mammography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners and BMD to produce radiographs or anatomic images of the human body as defined by documented competencies.
• Maintains excellent documentation and recording of radiology documents by following the adopted processes within the department.
• Performs basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment and process results of procedures.
• Collects and analyzes radiation safety Data per modality/technician responsibility.
• BS Degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Radiology.
• Experience in performing CT, Xray. BMD modality including OR and portable imaging, Coronary Scan is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast faced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and service excellence.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English, French is an advantage.
