The Employee will help our organization to identify and bridge the gap that exists in the business by analyzing the data, scale and support digital transformation initiatives. We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for an exciting assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative nursing experience and thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures. • Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and sterile equipment. • Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers throughout surgical procedures. • Maintain strict sterile technique and infection prevention standards. • Monitor patient status during surgery and respond appropriately to changes. • Perform accurate patient assessments and documentation using Epic EMR. • Ensure patient safety through proper positioning, instrument counts, and adherence to surgical protocols. • Collaborate with surgeons, surgical technologists, anesthesia staff, and PACU teams. • Provide patient and family education regarding surgical procedures and recovery. • Active RN license. • Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) experience. • Previous travel nursing experience preferred. • Experience with Epic EMR preferred. • Current BLS and ACLS certifications. • Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and perioperative nursing practices. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
