SDSU Research Foundation Key Responsibilities: • Molecular Biology Techniques: Perform DNA/RNA extraction, conventional and real-time PCR, and gel electrophoresis. • Field and Laboratory Work: Assist with field sampling, sample processing and analysis using molecular and analytical instruments. • Research and Reporting: Participate in data collection and setting up experiments, organize and analyze data, write and report following the P’s supervision. • General Lab Duties: Ensure the lab complies with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, maintain a clean and organized lab, ensure equipment calibration and instrument maintenance, manage inventory, prepare lab stocks, order materials, and prepare solutions and media plates. MINIMUM EDUCATION • Completion of sufficient lower division coursework MINIMUM EXPERIENCE • OR - Equivalent of one year related experience in lieu of coursework All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
