Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager to join a high-performing team based in Dublin, within a fast-paced FMCG environment. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will take ownership of the commercial P&L for one of our key retail customers, driving growth through strong customer partnerships, commercial excellence, and data-led decision-making. What You'll Do • Drive Customer Growth: Identify sales opportunities through data analysis, market insights, and customer understanding. • Manage Commercial Performance: Lead forecasting, manage customer P&Ls, and deliver profitable growth. • Develop Strategic Partnerships: Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and create tailored account strategies. • Sell with Impact: Use data and insights to develop compelling commercial proposals and influence customer decisions. • Execute Commercial Plans: Deliver promotional, in-store, and online initiatives while managing negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. • Lead Projects: Coordinate cross-functional teams to successfully deliver customer and business objectives. What You'll Need • 5+ years sales experience, FMCG experience with multiple retailers. • Proven experience in National Account Management, Key Account Management, or Customer Development within the FMCG industry. • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills • Proven ability to identify opportunities and solve complex business challenges • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights • Bachelor's degree preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Key Attributes • Negotiation: Proven track record of leading negotiations and building JBPs, high energy, exceptional commercial skills, passion for sales, great relationship building skills. • Proactive: Self-starter who takes ownership and drives results. • Analytical: Comfortable working with data to generate insights and recommendations. • Resilient: Adapts to challenges and maintains a positive, solution-focused mindset. • Results-Oriented: Focused on delivering outcomes that benefit both customers and the wider business. • Project Management: Organised, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively. • Team Player: Collaborates effectively across functions to achieve shared goals. • Simplifies Complexity: Able to turn complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions. • Strong Communicator: Confident engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
