We are looking for a Road Train Driver to join our team in Canobie. Canobie Station is located 200km north of Cloncurry, in the Gulf Region. Key Responsibilities: • Transportation of cattle as directed both on and off the station • Handle cattle in line with AACo animal welfare standards. • Be responsible for loading cattle at appropriate numbers. • Adhere to current fatigue management guidelines. • Complete all paperwork as required e.g. Livestock cartage book etc. • Conduct general property observations while driving • Carry out road train maintenance - Carry out a pre-start check daily or before each trip taken. • Maintain road train serviceability and ensure the vehicle is in roadworthy condition. • Monitor fuel and oil usage and record fuel in fuel log sheets • Monitor spare part usage Required Skills & Experience: • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • Current MC driver's license • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous • Ability to work both alone and as part of a team Apply Now to join the AAco Team!
