What you’ll do at Jamf:
At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. Sales Development Representative is a key member of the sales team, responsible for help prospects understand how they can make the management of their Apple devices robust and easy. You will be calling incoming leads, as well as develop your own leads through social media and phone. Once you have found a qualified opportunity, you will pass it on to the Inside or Field sales team. You will have a close working relationship with these teams, as well as with our Marketing teams. This role is offered as remote in Japan. You may be required to work periodically at a Jamf office or collaborative work location with other Jamf employees in your area for certain events or moments that matter. While the role is open to candidates based anywhere in Japan, candidates located in Tokyo (hybrid) or Fukuoka (remote) are preferred based on current team structure and collaboration needs. What you can expect to do this role:
Prospect into the assigned territory to find leads for the Sales team
Follow up on incoming leads and convert them to opportunities
Plan and execute outbound call strategy, targeting, scheduling, and specific action items
Use Salesforce to accurately manage and note calls, leads and opportunities
Maintain accurate records of leads passed to sales and the success of leads converted into opportunities
Work closely with the extended Sales team and the Marketing team
Contribute to the improvement of tools and processes within a rapidly evolving environment
Develop a well-rounded understanding of Jamf sales philosophy, market and customers
Understand the career paths at Jamf and continue to grow into additional responsibilities to leverage growth opportunities
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Limited travel may be required (Up to 10%), mainly for internal meetings and event-related activities
What we are looking for:
4 year / Bachelor's Degree preferred; A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or business development, including prospecting and pipeline generation
A high level of Japanese proficiency is required to perform essential customer-facing duties in Japan, and intermediate-level English reading and writing skills are required for internal systems and global collaboration
Experience in a high-volume outbound/inbound B2B sales environment (Preferred)
Experience selling to IT or security stakeholders (Preferred)
Familiarity with the Apple ecosystem or Apple device management in a business context (Preferred)
High degree of transparency and integrity
Ability to work as a self-starter
Strong self-improvement mindedness

Participation in ongoing security training is mandatory.
