Club SciKidz MD offers science and technology summer camps for children ages 4-15 years in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, and Montgomery counties. We are hiring Lead Instructors to work at our Annapolis location . The Lead Instructor position is for folks at least 20 years old and have at least one year experience teaching and leading a group of children. Preference given to certified teachers, education majors, and other individuals in work in the education/day care fields. Our Annapolis location camps run from June 15th-July 31st, and run Monday-Friday. Staff hours are approximately 8:30am-4pm with one after care shift per week. Pay starts at $575 a week and is dependent on your experience working with children and the fields of science & technology. Certified teachers start at $640 per week. We are looking for folks who: • Must be at least 20 years old • Enjoy working with children • Have experience working with, teaching and leading a group of up to 18 children • Want to help campers have a great summer as they learn science & technology • Passionate about providing children with hands-on learning experiences • Are reliable & hard working; have reliable transportation • Can commit to work at least 4 weeks; preference given to applicants who can work all 6 weeks.
