Join us and contribute to driving excellence at MOTOLITE! Job Summary: Will assist in various tasks within the production department of a battery manufacturing or recycling plant. The trainee will gain practical experience in the assembly, quality control, and packaging of battery products, as well as the operation of production machinery. Under the supervision of experienced operators and supervisors, the OJT will learn about production workflows, equipment handling, and quality standards in an industrial setting. Key Responsibilities: The OJT will support the Inventory Control team in improving material handling, inventory accuracy, and production-line efficiency. Key responsibilities include: • Assisting in MHE (Material Handling Equipment) fleet optimization projects, including data collection, utilization analysis, and route/dispatch efficiency studies • Supporting inventory optimization initiatives — outside-warehouse inventory tracking, issuance control, and line-side inventory standards • Helping build and maintain tools for data monitoring (Excel, Power Apps, Power BI) used in daily inventory and production tracking • Conducting Gemba walks and field data gathering to support root-cause analysis of inventory or process deviations • Assisting with documentation, reporting, and dashboard updates for management and area lead presentations Qualifications • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or Computer Science (or closely related field) • Basic proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables); exposure to VBA, Power Apps, or Power BI is a plus • Familiarity with data analysis concepts (Pareto, utilization rate, basic statistics) is an advantage • Interest in manufacturing, supply chain, or production operations • Detail-oriented, comfortable working with structured data and field observations • Good communication skills; able to work with cross-functional shift teams • Willing to be deployed on-site at Sta.
