Description
The NFL Digital Media team is seeking a seasonal Production Assistant to support all aspects of content gathering, production, and post-production for content across NFL Media’s digital platforms, including The NFL Channel (FAST), YouTube, NFL+, podcasts, NFL social channels, and NFL.com.
Responsibilities
Potential candidates must meet the following criteria and perform the following duties:
Work closely with live and tape content producers daily to support content created for programming across NFL platforms
Strong football knowledge and awareness of NFL events and stories, ability to quickly identify players and coaches
Transcribing interviews, press conferences, and other related sound
Curate social content, daily content and story/segment pitching
Knowledge of Tagboard a plus
Must be able to follow instructions and work well with others in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily assignments
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrate strong communication skills both verbally and written
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure situations
Familiar with utilizing social media for content gathering
Experience with Adobe Premiere
Must be flexible with work schedule including weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
4-year degree or equivalent education
Strong NFL knowledge (present day & historical)
Working knowledge of social media platforms & tools (X, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Strong attention to detail/organizational skills
Demonstrate knowledge and ability with live studio-related production technologies, multi-platform workflows and equipment
Strong writing skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism or equivalent experience in a related field
Previous professional experience in a TV production environment is strongly preferred
Basic understanding of linear editing and on-air graphics systems
Other Key Attributes / Characteristics
Must have strong editorial skills and NFL knowledge to know what video and soundbites are best to edit
Must be able to respond quickly on short deadlines
Must be able to respond positively to criticism
A team attitude is mandatory in all tasks requested from the smallest to largest
Terms / Expected Hours of Work
40 hours/week over a 7-month period
May include weekend shifts
Part-time, non-exempt
This is an in-office position – no remote work
Salary / Pay Range
