Description
As a Security Engineer Intern, you'll work across our full stack — product, infrastructure, and processes — to build security controls and shape how we do security at Maki. What You'll Work On - Contributing to product security — from how we handle data to how we design and ship features - Building security tooling and automation in our CI/CD and IaC pipelines - Running code analyses and intrusion tests on our applications and infrastructure - Working on AI security challenges firsthand — including protecting our Voice AI services against prompt injection - Supporting Maki in achieving security certifications and meeting customer and regulatory requirements   You're applying for the right job if... - You're curious about all aspects of security — code, infrastructure, and governance — and want to get your hands dirty in all of it - You're autonomous and proactive, want to learn fast, and aren't afraid to ask questions or challenge assumptions - You want to work in a small team of engineers who enjoy what they build and genuinely collaborate - You're looking for mentorship from engineers who care about doing things properly What We're Looking For - You're finishing your studies (Bac+4/Bac+5) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field - You have solid knowledge in computer science, including hands-on exposure to at least one area of security — whether that's application, cloud, or network and infrastructure - You're comfortable reading and writing code — Python, Go, or TypeScript preferred - You know how to communicate clearly, take a step back when needed, and work openly with the people around you Recruitment process 1.
