Here’s   the Gist: You will lead the integration of next generation Silicon   Carbide based   Power electronic products and technologies being introduced into our   state of the art   production facilities .    This role will   be responsible for   new   product life cycle from   initial   setup to product optimization and lastly yield improvements.   You will work with R&D, Process Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure new products and technologies are   optimized   and characterized for both product performance and manufacturability .    This role will also   need   to perform process windowing using DOE,   validate   specs, assess new product   Cpk , and compile a process manual for each   new technology   that is introduced into Production . The Day -to-Day • Responsible for new product and   new technology   introduction – build plans working across the integration and process teams to achieve first   pass qualification   success • Utilize your experience and knowledge in   fab   processing   to   fully window new processes in development and understand tuning knobs. • Engage with the Process Engineering teams early to set them up for success by ensuring process knowledge is   shared   and process interactions are defined and documented. • Work closely with   the   R&D   team   to assess   manufacturability   of   new design   specs   and integration . • Analyze data using sound statistical   methodology   to drive process, efficiency, and quality improvements. • Establish relationships across various departments to drive cohesive learning and cross functional problem solving. • Responsible for documentation and training in the transfer of new processes to manufacturing including   capacity planning,   characterization work, OCAP’s, FMEA’s ,   and process control plans and limits. This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements): • BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Equivalent • 5 + years of experience in a semiconductor environment, specifically within   diffusion (vertical furnaces, RTP systems) and ion implant   modules • Understanding of semiconductor processes , integration,   and equipment in Fabrication • Proficient in technical writing and presentations • Must be willing to work onsite in Marcy, NY 5 days per week. The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.
