Background Our Asset Management and Investment Funds Group is a market leader, advising on all aspects of investment management issues and the establishment and ongoing operation of investment funds in Ireland. The Group consists of a highly experienced team that has an in-depth understanding of all types of investment funds, including UCITS, ETFs, AIFs, ELTIFs, money market funds and other fund structures investing in the public and private markets. About the Role This is a high-profile position within a market-leading practice advising on the full lifecycle of Irish investment funds. As a Senior Associate, you will advise domestic and international asset managers, fund promoters and financial institutions on the establishment, structuring, authorisation and ongoing operation of Irish funds across the full range of fund products and management company businesses. Day to day, you will: Lead day-to-day management of complex fund establishment and regulatory projects. Draft and negotiate fund documentation. Engage with the Central Bank of Ireland and other industry bodies on behalf of our clients. Advise clients on Irish and EU regulatory requirements affecting funds and fund management companies. Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted adviser. Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, contributing to the development of the wider team. Work closely with partners on strategic client matters, business development initiatives and market-leading fund transactions. You will need strong technical expertise, sharp commercial judgement, excellent drafting skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
