This Senior Backend Engineer role focuses on the Application Access team, where you will design and implement backend services, APIs, and distributed systems in Go that enable access controls, audit logging, and identity workflows for infrastructure security. What You'll Do • Build backend integrations with cloud provider managed databases • Work on scalability and resiliency of clusters with 10,000+ nodes • Implement advanced HTTPS proxy with identity-aware access control • Design and implement distributed systems and backend services for access controls and audit logging • Collaborate with product managers, security researchers, and engineers on infrastructure access security at scale What You Need • Go programming experience • Linux systems engineering knowledge • Web fundamentals including cookie security, HTTP streaming, and proxying • OAuth experience Nice to Have • Cryptography engineering experience Extensive health coverage, annual expense budget, rest and recovery policies, retirement savings plans, professional development opportunities
