BetterHelp, the world's largest online therapy service, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their systems team. You will design, implement, and maintain reliable production systems and infrastructure while supporting software engineers in outage response and incident management. What You'll Do • Design, implement, deploy, and maintain reliable systems and processes • Provide service outage escalation response alongside software engineers • Participate in on-call incident management rotation • Manage configuration and security of instances across multiple environments • Develop and deploy automation to reduce operational toil • Monitor production systems and networks What You Need • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or equivalent production engineering role • Strong experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and methodologies • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Terraform • Very knowledgeable in Linux systems • Strong verbal and written communication skills Base salary $150,000–$200,000 plus performance bonus, health/dental/vision coverage, 401k with employer matching, free therapy, employee wellness, remote work with 3 required office visits to San Jose, CA per year plus one company-wide offsite (travel expenses covered)
