With over 40 years of experience in custom kitting and clinical trial support, our Clinical Services team combines deep technical and regulatory expertise with a strong track record of delivering high‑quality products and tailored solutions that our customers trust. Based in Kriftel, the EPL Archives Facility team supports the reliable and compliant operation of critical infrastructure within a GLP/GxP-regulated environment, including biological sample storage, regulated archives, and temperature-controlled areas. Our purpose-built facilities are designed to meet strict biorepository and audit requirements, while supporting operational continuity, safety, and regulatory compliance through effective maintenance, monitoring, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement activities. How will you make an impact & Requirement Role Mission As a Senior Facility Specialist, you will ensure the reliable, compliant, and efficient operation of all facility systems, taking technical ownership of critical infrastructure across the site. You will play a key role in   maintaining   operational continuity, supporting regulatory compliance, and driving improvements in performance, safety, and cost efficiency. Acting as a technical expert within the team, you will lead maintenance activities, support cross-functional collaboration, and contribute to strategic decisions that enhance long-term facility performance in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities • Take full technical ownership of facility systems including HVAC, electrical infrastructure, safety systems, temperature-controlled environments, and critical utilities • Plan, coordinate, and lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring high-quality execution and minimal operational disruption • Monitor system performance, proactively   identifying   risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement • Ensure compliance with all internal procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements ( e.g.   GxP , G L P, ISO) • Act as a subject matter expert during audits and inspections, ensuring full readiness and supporting documentation • Coordinate and manage external vendors and service providers, ensuring service quality and performance standards are met • Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to recurring technical issues • Maintain   accurate   maintenance records and ensure documentation is complete, compliant, and audit-ready • Collaborate with Quality, EHS, and Operations to support risk management and continuous improvement • Lead or contribute to projects such as equipment installation, facility upgrades, and infrastructure improvements • Conduct facility inspections and ensure   timely   follow-up and issue resolution • Manage spare parts, tools, and critical supplies to ensure operational continuity • Provide   technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior team members • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues • Support cost control initiatives by monitoring performance and   identifying   efficiency improvements • Participate in on-call support as   required   (24/7) What   We’re   Looking For We’re   looking for a highly experienced and proactive facility professional with strong technical   expertise   and the ability to take ownership of complex building systems. You are comfortable working independently in a regulated environment, while also acting as a trusted technical advisor to the wider team. This role suits someone who thrives on solving problems, driving improvements, and ensuring operational excellence. Essential skills and experience: • T echnical   secondary education or   Bachelor’s   degree in a relevant field ( e.g.   electrical, mechanical, building services engineering) • HVAC or/and building systems certifications ( e.g.   VDI 6022 or equivalent) • Significant   experience     in   facility maintenance, building engineering, or technical operations, ideally within regulated environments ( e.g.   GxP , pharmaceutical, biotech, laboratory) • Strong technical   expertise   in building systems , including HVAC, electrical infrastructure, critical utilities, and temperature-controlled environments • Proven hands-on experience in: • Coordinating and managing vendors and service providers • Leading or supporting technical and facility-related projects • Operating successfully within regulated and audited environments • Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory standards , including G L P/ GxP , ISO standards, and health & safety requirements • Relevant certifications and training, such as: • G L P/ GxP   training • Occupational Health & Safety certification • Electrical   authorisation   ( e.g.   Elektrofachkraft   or equivalent) • Knowledge of HVAC/building standards ( e.g.   VDI 6022 or similar) • Strong   technical problem-solving capability , including root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable corrective actions • Proven ability to   work independently with   a high level   of ownership , decision-making responsibility, and accountability • Strong   organisational   and   prioritisation   skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment • Excellent   communication and stakeholder management skills , with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally • Experience   maintaining   accurate   technical documentation , ensuring compliance and audit readiness • Demonstrated ability to   guide, support, and share knowledge   with less experienced colleagues Desirable (but not essential): • Forklift or technical equipment operation   licence • Experience working in multi-site or complex facilities • Experience with maintenance management systems or ERP platforms • Strong cost awareness and experience supporting cost   optimisation   initiatives • Experience shaping maintenance strategies, standards, and best practices • F amiliarity with advanced risk management and facility   optimisation   techniques What We Offer At Resonant,   we’re   more than a leading life sciences   company,   we’re   a global team united by a shared purpose: the uncompromising pursuit of quality to help our customers move science forward.
