Description
HEALF IS EUROPE'S FASTEST-GROWING COMPANY. Number one on the FT1000, number one on the Sifted 100. From £1m to over £100m in under three years, with a small, talent-dense team and an electric culture with day one founder intensity. Now we're aiming for £1bn in the next three. We curate the world's best wellbeing brands across The Four Pillars™: EAT, MOVE, MIND, SLEEP. That's the first chapter. THE NEXT CHAPTER IS HARDER AND MORE INTERESTING. We are moving from one market to many, from e-commerce to a technology platform, and from curating wellbeing to defining it. We are a health company, so we think we should act like one. At its fullest expression, Healf redefines what wellbeing means for tens of millions of people. None of that happens without discipline behind the numbers. As we scale from one market to many — and from e-commerce to a technology platform — Financial Control has to move at the same pace as the rest of the business, across every entity, brand, and geography we operate in. That's where this role comes in. We're hiring a Senior Finance Manager – Financial Control to act as No.2 to our Financial Controller, owning the day-to-day accuracy, discipline, and commercial edge of our finance operations as Healf scales toward £1bn. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - Management Accounts & Monthly Close - Own the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely management accounts across all group entities, geographies, and DTC brands. Drive a disciplined, repeatable month-end close with clear ownership, timelines, and insightful outputs. - Revenue Reporting - Own the revenue reporting process, including the timely completion of the sales to revenue, cash to revenue, sales to cash and deferred revenue reconciliations, including clear, concise commentary on the sales to revenue bridge and deferred revenue movement. - Multi-Entity & International Financial Control - Own day-to-day Financial Control operations across a multi-entity, international group structure. Ensure consistent application of accounting standards, processes, and controls. - Transaction Processing (AP & AR) - Own AP and AR operations across the group, ensuring timely invoice processing, collections, payment runs, and reconciliations. Actively drive improvements in customer and supplier payment terms in partnership with commercial and operations leaders. - Working Capital & Cash Discipline - Own day-to-day working capital management, including payables, receivables, and operational cash drivers. Partner with the business to improve cash conversion, reduce working capital, and embed cash discipline into decision-making. - DTC Brand & Incubator Support - Provide hands-on finance support to DTC incubator brands, covering day-to-day finance needs, cash management, and commercial decision support. - OPEX & CAPEX Business Partnering - Partner with functional and brand directors on OPEX and CAPEX planning, reporting, and control. Ensure spend is planned, tracked, and reviewed against clear business cases and commercial outcomes. Support efficient allocation of capital as the business scales. - Regular Reporting & Commercial Finance Interface - Own recurring financial reporting outputs used by Commercial Finance and the wider business. Work closely with Commercial Finance to ensure management accounts, forecasts, and performance reporting are aligned and decision-useful. - Systems-First Financial Control - Apply a systems-first mindset to Financial Control operations, prioritising automation and scalable solutions over manual workarounds. Partner with the Finance Systems & Data Lead to embed robust, efficient processes and controls into systems. - Team Leadership & Development - Lead and develop the Financial Control operations team, setting clear expectations for quality, pace, and accountability. Act as deputy to the Financial Controller, providing cover, judgement, and escalation support as required. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
