What You’ll Be Doing Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Support and manage month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare and review financial statements, financial schedules, reconciliations, and management reports. Maintain General Ledger accuracy and investigate account discrepancies. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and supporting documentation. Ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and supported by appropriate audit trails. Apply sound accounting principles and support compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, UK accounting practices, or other applicable standards. Support audit preparation, internal controls, compliance reviews, and financial governance initiatives. Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting Support annual budgeting, recurring forecasts, and financial planning activities. Analyze actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Perform variance, trend, profitability, and cost analysis. Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for senior leadership and operational teams. Identify financial risks, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities. Translate financial data into clear insights and practical recommendations. Track performance across projects, departments, clients, and business units. Build, maintain, or utilize financial dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms to support leadership decision-making. Operational Finance Support day-to-day finance operations across multiple client accounts and business functions. Review and validate invoices, billing records, contracts, approvals, payment terms, and supporting documentation. Monitor client billing, vendor payments, accruals, aging reports, and transaction activity. Investigate billing, payment, and reconciliation discrepancies and coordinate timely resolution. Support project accounting, cost tracking, utilization reporting, and financial performance monitoring. Maintain strong financial documentation and operational controls. Recommend improvements to finance workflows, reporting processes, and internal systems. Cross-Functional Business Partnership Partner closely with Payroll, HR, Operations, Project Management, Global Delivery, and senior leadership. Communicate financial results, risks, and operational concerns clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders. Support leadership with financial information required for business decisions. Coordinate across departments to ensure financial and operational alignment. Contribute to finance-related projects, system implementations, process improvements, and organizational initiatives. Explain technical financial concepts in a clear, practical, and business-focused manner. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum five years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, operational finance, corporate finance, or a related function. Strong technical accounting foundation.
