Liaison is an education technology company serving higher education institutions with enrollment and application solutions. This role leads a scrum team in designing and developing highly scalable, multi-tenant web and data applications for educational institutions using cloud-native technologies and modern development practices. What You'll Do • Design and develop enterprise-grade, high-volume web and data application platforms using AWS or GCP • Develop and support APIs and business logic using C#, .NET, Docker, and RabbitMQ • Build web user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js and React • Lead design discussions and solution design sessions with product and engineering teams to shape product features • Provide mentorship and guidance to remote teams of front-end and back-end developers, QA engineers, and technical leaders What You Need • 8+ years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in Agile scrum teams • 5+ years working with C#, .NET and related technologies • 5+ years with AWS and critical technologies such as EKS, SQS, ECS, and Redis Cache • 5+ years designing and implementing CI/CD processes using Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions • Experience with Linux systems and bash command line, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and Docker Nice to Have • Experience with multiple tech stacks and ability to quickly learn new technologies • Knowledge of AJAX, JSON, HTML and CSS • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch or MongoDB Base salary $120,000–$170,000 USD; exact compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location
