As a Senior Functional Tester , you are not just validating features — you are safeguarding quality, driving improvements, and shaping the way we test. You play a key role in ensuring our software meets the highest standards while collaborating closely with analysts, developers, and fellow testers across teams. Your Role As a Senior Functional Tester, you are responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and overall quality of new and existing features within Miles. You will: Design, document and execute functional test scenarios and test cases Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into structured test approaches Detect, document and follow up on defects in close collaboration with development teams Contribute to test automation initiatives and help improve automation frameworks Support integration, regression, and performance testing activities Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases Safeguard QA standards, best practices and contribute to continuous improvement Take ownership of testing initiatives within your domain As you grow further in this role, you will: Lead testing efforts across projects or domains Define and improve quality standards and testing strategies Mentor junior testers and share best practices Strengthen automation and performance testing capabilities within the team Your Interests and Skills Quality is your passion. You don’t just test software — you understand how systems work, how users think, and where risks might hide. You combine analytical strength with strong communication skills and enjoy working in a collaborative, Agile environment.
