Ardent is seeking a Senior Geospatial Application Developer  to join our team.   This is a hybrid position in Washington DC. Position Description: Ardent is seeking a Senior Geospatial Application Developer to lead application development efforts supporting enterprise geospatial solutions within a federal environment. This role will support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of geospatial applications, user interfaces, workflows, APIs, and related services. The Senior Geospatial Application Developer will lead application development activities and collaborate with program team members across infrastructure, security, data, and operations to ensure applications meet federal IT requirements and mission needs. Responsibilities and Duties: Lead application development efforts for enterprise geospatial solutions. Develop, enhance, and maintain geospatial applications, user interfaces, workflows, and APIs. Support new development and maintenance of existing geospatial solutions. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, data, and program teams to ensure applications meet DHS IT requirements. Support implementation and maintenance of ArcGIS Enterprise and related geospatial services. Develop web-based GIS applications, dashboards, and integration workflows. Support geospatial data management, visualization, analysis, and application integration activities. Participate in application testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, deployment, and maintenance activities. Develop and maintain technical documentation, application specifications, and user guides. Support cybersecurity, role-based access, and privacy requirements within application development activities. Provide technical guidance to application development team members. Support development, testing, production, and operations and maintenance environments. Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience. Experience leading application development teams or development workstreams. Experience developing applications including user interfaces, workflows, and APIs. Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, C++, JavaScript, C#, .NET, or similar technologies. Experience supporting new development and/or maintenance of existing geospatial solutions. Experience working with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Server, or related Esri technologies. Experience developing web applications, dashboards, workflows, or APIs. Experience collaborating with infrastructure, security, data, and program teams. Experience supporting applications within federal IT, cybersecurity, or compliance requirements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. A
