Team The Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) department is responsible for preventing, detecting, and combating financial crime, thereby ensuring that Raisin bank is not misused for illegal purposes such as money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud. Within this department, the AFC Advisory team plays a central role by developing and monitoring internal policies, control mechanisms, and training programs. We ensure robust money laundering compliance across the entire organization, acting as a collaborative hub of senior expertise where we balance regulatory obligations with sustainable business growth. Your Responsibilities Project Leadership:  Own the planning, implementation, and documentation of bank-wide and client-related AFC projects. Framework Optimization:  Drive the strategic development of our AML framework, including the enhancement of IT systems and automated controls. Process & Operational Integrity:  Manage and update internal AFC processes, while executing the necessary monitoring and control activities to ensure full regulatory compliance. Risk Assessment:  Conduct complex money laundering risk analyses and manage customer risk ratings to ensure precise, high-quality assessments. Regulatory Oversight:  Monitor new regulatory developments, specifically regarding outsourcing requirements (Auslagerungen), and translate these into actionable operational workflows. Audit Management:  Serve as the technical point of contact for the preparation and execution of internal and external AFC-related audits. Advisory & Training:  Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and conduct training sessions to foster compliance awareness throughout the bank. Your Profile Experience:  Several years of professional experience in Anti-Financial Crime within a banking or consulting environment. Regulatory Knowledge:  In-depth understanding of German and EU regulatory frameworks including GwG, BaFin AuA, AML-VO, EBA Guidelines, FATF recommendations, and KWG. Domain Expertise:  Proven track record in KYC, customer identification, and the creation of accurate risk analyses and customer risk ratings. Analytical Rigor:  Demonstrated ability to translate complex regulations into conceptual solutions, with an openness to leveraging technological innovations. Communication & Teamwork:  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional stakeholders. Language Skills:  Full professional proficiency in both German and English is required for this role.
