The Senior Manager Corporate Finance will support strategic financial decision-making across MoonLake by partnering closely with the CFO, Senior Director Finance, and cross-functional teams to frame key business questions, assess options, and translate complex input into clear, actionable recommendations. The role will act as a generalist corporate finance partner across topics such as treasury, cash management, tax, transfer pricing, entity structure, compliance, transaction support, and strategic projects linked to MoonLake’s continued growth and US commercial launch. It requires strong analytical judgement, financial modelling capability, and the ability to work effectively with both internal stakeholders and external advisors in a fast-moving, international environment. Major Accountabilities Strategic finance partnering: Partner with the CFO and Senior Director Finance to frame strategic questions, assess options, and prepare clear recommendations to support key leadership decisions. Corporate finance coordination: Coordinate internal teams and external experts across corporate finance topics including treasury, cash management, tax, transfer pricing, entity structure, compliance, and transaction support, ensuring input is consolidated into practical and well-supported recommendations. Stakeholder and advisor management: Manage relationships with external advisors and collaborate closely with teams across Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, Commercial, and Corporate Strategy to ensure alignment and informed decision-making. Financial analysis and modelling: Build and maintain financial models, conduct research, and pressure-test advice to help senior leadership understand financial implications, risks, trade-offs, and available options. Strategic project support: Support strategic finance projects connected to MoonLake’s US commercial launch, international growth, and broader corporate development priorities. Decision support and communication: Translate complex financial, tax, legal, and operational considerations into concise materials and recommendations for senior stakeholders. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional qualification, such as MBA, CFA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent, is desirable. Additional training or certification in corporate finance, treasury, tax, or financial modelling would be an advantage. Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, Big 4 advisory, or a related in-house finance function. Experience working in an international, multi-entity environment. Experience preparing financial analysis, business cases, options papers, or recommendations for senior stakeholders. Exposure to US-listed companies and/or the life sciences sector is a plus. Hands-on experience in treasury, cash management, transfer pricing, tax, entity structuring, or transaction support is desirable. Experience working with external advisors and cross-functional teams across Finance, Legal, Tax, Commercial, and Strategy is beneficial. Skills/knowledge/behavioural competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous questions and turn complex inputs into clear recommendations. Solid financial modelling skills, with the ability to assess financial scenarios, sensitivities, risks, and trade-offs. Strong business judgement and intellectual curiosity, with a generalist mindset across corporate finance topics. Confident communicator, able to present analysis and recommendations clearly to senior audiences. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate input from internal teams and external advisors.
