About the role and what you'll be doing:
The Open Systems Procurement Leader owns end-to-end procurement for Ensono’s Open Systems and Cloud client business. As Ensono evolves its procurement function from functional silos into four self-contained pods aligned to the work, this role leads the Open Systems Pod — driving all client-impacting commercial activity from quote through renewal, including pricing, supplier strategy, asset management, and partner programs. The Leader is a senior commercial advisor to executive leadership and a peer to the Mainframe, Internal, and Vendor Management Office leaders within the Procurement organization.
What You Will Do:
Own end-to-end procurement for all Open Systems and Cloud client work: quotes, renewals, maintenance, asset management, cloud usage, and partner programs.
Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing pod team with clear accountability for revenue-supporting outcomes for the Open Systems business.
Partner with executive and senior stakeholders as a trusted commercial advisor on sourcing strategy, supplier risk, and deal economics.
Lead complex deal pursuits for Open Systems and Cloud opportunities — bid strategy, pricing, and margin optimization are run end-to-end within the pod.
Align with the Vendor Management Office on governance, supplier compliance, and contract & entitlement integrity.
Track and report on pod-level KPIs: cycle time, savings, deal velocity, and throughput.
Track and continuously improve stakeholder experience — for internal sales, solutioning, and client-facing partners — to ensure the pod consistently meets business needs with quality and pace.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization, innovation, and process improvement; contribute to leadership bench strength and succession planning across the Procurement organization.
