As a Senior Product Designer , you will play a pivotal role in owning key initiatives and product areas, driving impact through end-to-end design work that helps build and improve critical parts of the product for our customers. Reporting to the Head of Design , this role is perfect for someone who is energized by complex, ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment and eager to grow with a well-funded, fast-moving startup.
What You'll Do
Independently own the end-to-end design process, from user flow diagrams to polished designs that are ready for engineering handoff
Participate in discovery calls and visits with our users, synthesizing research into key insights that support your decisions
Partner with product managers throughout the design process to deliver solutions that bring value to our users and our business
Work closely with engineers, QA, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and constraints, and iterate on ideas quickly
Participate in design reviews by sharing your work and providing constructive feedback to other team members
Contribute to the design team's culture of collaboration and support
Mentor junior members of the team
What We Look For
5+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of delivering successful products from concept to launch
Experience working on enterprise or vertical SaaS
Expert proficiency in Figma
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and methodologies, with experience conducting user research and usability testing, and making data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences
Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude Code) to enhance various stages of the design process—synthesis, ideation, and prototyping
Ability to travel up to six times per year for team meetings and customer visits
Familiarity with the commercial trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and/or construction, preferred but not required
An understanding of HTML and CSS principles, preferred
Familiarity with tools like Dovetail and Jira, preferred

Compensation
[124,000.00 CAD - 155,000.00 CAD / year] base salary + annual bonus opportunity (Toronto hub)
