Das Mögliche neu denken NEOM Green Hydrogen Project is part of the most complex capital project and a flagship project at scale for Air Products. Air Products is executing an EPC Contract with the customer – NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC). The Senior Project Engineer supports safe and timely delivery of the commissioning, startup, and turnover phases associated to NEOM Green Hydrogen Project, with additional responsibility to coordinate cybersecurity readiness activities in alignment with project execution requirements. The role operates primarily at site and works across multi-disciplinary teams to manage interfaces between construction, commissioning, controls, IT/OT cybersecurity, subcontractors, and internal Air Products stakeholders. The job holder supports schedule, cost, risk, safety, quality, stakeholder management. The candidate shall have considerable priority to coordinate and facilitate the cybersecurity compliance readiness, ensuring that commissioning and handover activities are aligned with SAIS / HCIS and National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) regulatory expectations. The position focuses on coordination, follow up, escalation, and documentation, enabling technical leads and cybersecurity managers to remain focused on design and compliance decisions, while ensuring that actions, approvals, and dependencies are tracked and progressed during late execution phases. This position is based out of Duba, Tabuk Region, Saudi Arabia working on rotation of 8 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF. The position will be a site-based role with the below duties: • Support commissioning, startup, and turnover activities in accordance with approved project plans, safety requirements, and execution strategies. • Coordinate multi‑disciplinary interfaces (Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls, IT/OT, Mechanical, Construction, Operations) during commissioning readiness. • Track schedule progress, identify slippages, and expedite critical activities with subcontractors and internal teams; escalate delays through defined project governance. • Support cybersecurity readiness coordination during execution, commissioning, and turnover phases, in alignment with project cybersecurity plans. • Act as a site‑level coordination focal point for SAIS / HCIS and NCA‑related execution inputs, supporting internal alignment across Engineering, OT Cybersecurity, Digital Technology, and Project Controls teams. • Support organization and follow‑up of cybersecurity‑related coordination meetings with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams; track actions and dependencies. • Maintain action trackers for commissioning and cybersecurity readiness items; ensure timely closure and transparent reporting to project leadership. • Support change management activities by ensuring that late design, installation, commissioning, or startup changes are reviewed for schedule, cost, and compliance impacts. • Identify, document, and escalate execution risks (technical, schedule, cybersecurity readiness, or stakeholder‑related) to the Project Manager and relevant leads. • Prepare and contribute to weekly and monthly execution status reports, including commissioning and cyber readiness highlights, risks, and constraints. • Promote a strong safety and compliance culture by ensuring commissioning and site activities adhere to approved procedures and regulatory expectations - including emergency management, emergency response related requirements Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Controls, Electronics & Communications, IT, or equivalent engineering discipline. • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas or large industrial projects, with hands‑on exposure to commissioning, startup, or turnover phases in the Middle East. • Demonstrated experience across the project life cycle, including schedule, cost, risk, safety, quality, and stakeholder management. • Working knowledge of industrial control systems, OT environments, and execution‑phase coordination in EPC / PMC project • Demonstrates visible commitment to safety and regulatory compliance during commissioning and cyber‑related execution activities. • Supports adherence to Air Products EHS requirements, site procedures, and cybersecurity governance expectations. • Proactively identifies hazards, execution risks, and compliance gaps and ensures timely escalation.
