The Edenred Digital Center (EDC) in Bucharest, Romania is Edenred Group's new Digital hub for strategic IT projects. Context/ ROLE As a senior test engineer, you will join a selected team of highly skilled developers and engineers creating cutting-edge products in the payment transaction processing space. The products you will be working on are dedicated to support our core business and grow as well to provide accessibility and an ease of use for our customer. As a Senior Test Engineer on the End to End Testing team, you will focus on testing of complex user journeys spanning multiple frontend and backend applications. You will ensure the highest quality by designing and executing thorough test cases that validate both UI and API functionality, data integrity, and performance of our systems. Position SCOPE & Key Responsibilities • Analyze feature documentation, user stories and acceptance criteria to design comprehensive test cases covering full end-to-end user flows. • Develop comprehensive test cases and test plans to ensure complete test coverage. • Execute detailed tests to verify functionality, performance, reliability, and data consistency throughout the applications. • Perform regression testing prior to releases to ensure stability of existing features. • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and back-end functionality. • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to thoroughly understand application features and ensure complete test coverage. • Maintain clear and thorough documentation of test processes, results, and defect reports. • Assist in the identification of test automation opportunities. • Continuously update knowledge of industry best practices and emerging testing methodologies. Required skills & profile Experience • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing. • Strong skills in test case design and execution, with experience validating UI functionality (FE flows and components) and backend processes (APIs, Message Queues, DBs). • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work. • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory. • Fluent English language skills are a required. • A team player, always eager to learn new skills and technologies. • Willingness to discover new and complex topics. • Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with eagerness to tackle complex challenges.
