A Day in The Life Of: • As part of the Cerberus team, this role builds and supports the platforms that make critical medical device data accessible to clinicians, health systems, and external partners, helping improve patient care and outcomes. • The position focuses on Data Export and Data Access capabilities, delivering clinical data in industry-standard formats such as XML and FHIR to enable secure, reliable integration across healthcare systems. • Engineers in this role design and develop cloud-based services, APIs, data pipelines, and microservices using technologies such as C#, .NET, Java, SQL, AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka, with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and reliability. • Success in this role requires strong technical skills, collaboration across engineering, product, and QA teams, and a purpose-driven mindset centered on ensuring accurate, secure, near real-time data delivery that supports better clinical decision-making. Key Skills & Experience Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. • Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience , or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree. Required Technical Skills • 4+ years experience delivering software using C# and .NET. • Experience building and deploying solutions in a public cloud environment , preferably AWS . • Hands-on experience developing and operating applications on Kubernetes. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source code control and artifact tooling (git, JFrog, etc.) • Strong database development experience using SQL • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation Nice to Have: • 2+ years experience delivering software using Java. • 2+ years of experience leveraging Kafka or similar streaming technologies • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, ELK Stack, CloudWatch , or similar platforms. • Refactoring a monolith into microservices • Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin • Experience working within a medical device, healthcare, or regulated industry environment . • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
