This Senior Software Engineer role focuses on designing and developing core networking features, protocols, and systems that form the backbone of modern network architectures. What You'll Do • Design and implement scalable networking protocols and systems • Develop high-performance network software components • Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams on networking architecture • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on networking best practices • Troubleshoot and optimize network performance and reliability What You Need • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience • Deep expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, or similar) • Strong systems programming skills in C, C++, or Rust • Experience designing and implementing distributed systems • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Nice to Have • Experience with Linux kernel networking or network device drivers • Contributions to open source networking projects • Knowledge of SDN technologies and network automation • Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools
