Welcome to Ability Action Australia! We are one of the largest providers to the NDIS, supporting over 10,000 participants every year with the care they need, when and where it is needed. We have a multi-disciplinary team approach, building a quality support service around the needs and goals of our participants and their family. Help us help others  with life changing support that can improve their independence, access, development, health and wellbeing, and function. As our #AAA team continues to grow, we’re looking for a Senior Speech Pathologist  to support participants across the  Illawarra region , covering Nowra and North and South Wollongong, depending on where you’re based - work close to home! As an experienced clinician, you’ll bring your expertise to a supportive and collaborative environment where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of your participants, contribute to team development, and continue growing professionally. Responsibilities will include: • Manage a varied, community‑based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings • Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults • Support a range of needs such as feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC • Conduct observations and standardised assessments to develop meaningful, participant‑centred goals • Deliver evidence‑based therapy that builds communication, participation and independence • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes • Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals • Support the growth and development of graduates and early career clinicians. To be successful in this role you will have: • Current Speech Pathology Australia membership with SPA • Experience as a Speech Pathologist or Senior Speech Pathologist beyond graduation • Passionate about community‑based support for people with disability • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload • Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment • Desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians What's in it for you?
