Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and collaborative team at PDSA Derby . You’ll work with a varied caseload, including more complex medical and surgical cases, while helping to shape clinical standards and support the development of the wider team. The Role As a Senior Veterinary Surgeon, you will: • Take the clinical lead on cases and provide support to colleagues. • Manage a varied medical and surgical caseload. • Offer second opinions and guidance to the veterinary team. • Discuss evidence-based treatment options with clients. • Support mentoring, coaching, and development of colleagues. • Help embed high clinical standards and contribute to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical confidence, excellent communication skills, and a calm, practical approach to decision-making.
