The 6.8MWe biomass-fired combined heat and power station is designed to provide sustainable green electricity for over 10,000 homes. The Opportunity We are now recruiting for a Shift Plant Operator. The Shift Plant Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Biomass Power Plant at Widmerpool under the overall control of the Shift Team Leader. You will operate all aspects of the Biomass Power Plant to ensure it functions at maximum levels of safety, availability, efficiency, and power output. You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.
