Description
Thenamaris is a global ship manager of high specification modern ocean-going vessels. We help deliver goods to people around the world, enriching their lives. We do this by safely managing a world class fleet of ships, providing the highest levels of service to our principals and clients. Thenamaris (Ships Management) Inc. manages Tanker vessels, Thenamaris ConBulk Inc. manages bulk carriers and containerships, while Thenamaris LNG Inc. manages LNG and LPG carriers. The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the construction of New Building projects, ensuring the safe, timely, and high‑quality construction of newbuild vessels in accordance with company standards and project requirements. The role involves leading daily site operations and coordinating closely with shipyard teams, while continuously monitoring construction progress, quality, and compliance with specifications. The Site Manager ensures that safety practices are rigorously applied and addresses technical issues as they arise. The position also requires structured reporting to Head Office on milestones, risks, and deviations, as well as providing leadership and guidance to the site team to support effective collaboration and performance. • University degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Manager is mandatory • Proficiency in English, both oral and written. Knowledge of the Chinese and/or Korean language is considered a plus • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and people‑management skills • Strong project management skills • Strong communication and negotiation skills combined with the ability to work in a multinational environment • PC literacy, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite If you are in search of a first-class working environment in the global ship management industry and meet the above qualifications, we look forward to receiving your application.
