The role:   As a Software Engineer, Backend, you will drive the health of the platform by developing the core, high-traffic backend services that shape feature delivery and strengthen the user experience. You will play a key role throughout the mobile ecosystem, from early discovery and technical planning through to release and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with a cross-functional group to ensure dependable delivery, smoother interactions, and stable performance at scale. What you’ll do:  Develop, test, and deploy features for core, high-traffic backend services aligned to business expectations and company standards. Take ownership of assigned projects and engineering tasks, ensuring their timely implementation. Keep stakeholders informed about current progress, potential blockers, and delays that might affect delivery. Take responsibility for the deliverable's quality from both functional and non-functional perspectives. Actively contribute to the stability and maintainability of the production environment. Collaborate to continuously improve team processes and system performance, learning and following best practices along the way. What you bring in:  Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Solid foundation and relevant experience in Java, GoLang, or Scala. Familiarity with the concepts of distributed systems. Solid knowledge of GitHub. Experience or strong exposure to building data-intensive applications. Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. It would be great if you also have: Experience with Kafka and Cassandra. Experience with graph databases. Experience with GRPC.
