Description
You’ll join a small, highly technical team working across Build.io’s platform and the broader modern development stack. This is a hands-on role for someone who is curious, adaptable, and excited to keep learning across infrastructure, tooling, and product development. You’ll help improve the systems and workflows that power our PaaS, while also supporting technical customer needs, sales implementations, and the team’s on-call rotation when needed. Responsibilities • Contribute to the development of Build.io’s PaaS across different parts of the stack • Build and improve tooling, systems, and workflows that support modern product development • Work across software, infrastructure, and automation depending on team needs • Help troubleshoot customer issues and support technical implementations • Assist with sales-related technical questions and demos when needed • Participate in the on-call rotation and support production systems responsibly • Learn from and collaborate with a multidisciplinary technical team Requirements • Degree in Computer Science or self-taught and comfortable with advanced peers • 3+ years of professional software development experience • Comfort developing alongside AI tooling, ideally asking for token limits to be raised • Positive attitude teammate that is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and support technical customer needs, sales implementations, and participate in on-call rotation Nice to haves While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following. • Experience with containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes • Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKS, or CKAD • Security-related certifications, or demonstrable experience working on security-focused engineering problems • Experience working on infrastructure, platform, or developer tooling products • Familiarity with cloud environments and modern deployment workflows
