Description
ABOUT US
We are fixing US healthcare by building an AI-native physical care platform, starting with home health. We have a genuinely differentiated story and no one who owns the strategy behind how it reaches the market. That is this role.
As a Special Projects Lead on our Marketing and Growth team, you will own how Adaptive shows up: our conference and event strategy, our digital and content strategy, our biggest public moments, and the collateral that helps Sales and Partnerships win. You will decide what we make, why, and whether it is good enough to ship. This is a strategy seat with design and production support behind it, not a design role.
You will thrive here if you have consulting-grade rigor, can own an ambiguous project end to end without a playbook, write and present exceptionally well, and have real taste.
THE OPPORTUNITY: OWNING HOW ADAPTIVE SHOWS UP
This is a Special Projects Lead seat, and that is deliberate. Our SPLs take ambiguous, high-stakes problems and own them end to end. This one owns the most visible problem we have: how Adaptive presents itself to the market.
We have a genuinely differentiated story and, right now, no one who owns the strategy behind how that story reaches hospitals, referral partners, clinicians, and recruits. You will build that strategy and then run it. Think of it as a blend of:
- Go-to-market strategy (decide where we show up, what we say, and what we spend, so that Sales and Partnerships walk into warmer rooms)
- Digital and content strategy (own how we present ourselves online, from our digital presence and thought leadership to the content engine that feeds recruiting and sales)
- Cross-functional execution (turn a strategy deck into shipped work: campaigns, conference presence, launch moments, sales collateral, with real owners and deadlines)
You will work directly with the exec team, Sales, Recruiting, and Partnerships. Like all SPL roles, this is a track: it is designed for people who want to grow into owning a function, a P&L, or a GM-style seat, depending on where you spike.
This role is designed for you if you have a low ego, love solving problems that matter, and are ready to build an industry-changing company.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Own the company's biggest public moments
- Run our major announcements end-to-end, such as our fundraising and partnership announcements, including owning narrative, assets, and day-of execution
- Own how we show up at conferences, including which events are worth our time and how we show up
- Own the face of each new-market launch
2. Build and run our digital strategy
- Own how Adaptive presents itself online: channels, cadence, positioning, and measurement
- Build the content engine that Sales and Partnerships can actually use: thought leadership, whitepapers, case studies, executive presence, fireside chats
- Own the content strategy that supports recruiting and clinician acquisition, not just sales
3. Run growth marketing like an operator
- Execute and evolve our market-entry playbook as we launch new regions, partnering with Growth and Operations leaders on the ground
- Build the business case for where we spend: which events, which channels, which bets, and what "worth it" looks like
- Make our brand guidelines digestible and self-serve for non-designers: distill, systematize, and build the internal tooling to deliver them
- Fix how our outbound-heavy teams put things into the world, audit things going out today, and stand up a lightweight review-and-enablement system so quality holds without you touching everything
5. Define the metrics that prove it worked
- Identify the KPIs that matter (pipeline influenced, event ROI, recruiting funnel, share of voice) and make our impact legible to the whole company
Note: you will have design and production support. We are not asking you to be the person in Figma at 11pm. We are asking you to be the person who decides what we make, why, and whether it
