As a Senior Value Engineering Leader , you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the competitiveness, manufacturability, and performance of medium and large power transformers. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, and global technical teams, you will drive value engineering initiatives, support the introduction of new technologies, and lead projects that deliver measurable business impact. How You'll Make an Impact • Lead Design-to-Value (DtV) initiatives to improve product competitiveness, customer value, and operational performance. • Identify cost reduction and productivity opportunities using Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles. • Analyze product costs, bills of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering data to uncover improvement opportunities. • Develop data-driven business cases and implement initiatives that support factory productivity and cost optimization goals. • Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation while monitoring progress, risks, and business outcomes. • Collaborate with global engineering experts to standardize best practices and drive innovation across product lines. • Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to deliver practical, scalable, and cost-effective engineering solutions. • Support the introduction of new products, materials, technologies, and components, including technology transfer activities and alignment with global standards. • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. Your Background • Bachelor's degree in Engineering. • Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience. • Experience with power transformer design strongly preferred. • Proficiency with 3D modeling and design tools; PTC Creo experience preferred. • Experience with FEA simulation tools such as Creo Simulate, ANSYS, or equivalent. • Proven success leading engineering projects, delivering measurable savings, and utilizing ERP systems such as SAP.
